Temp housing over winter South St./University area? (apartment, leases)

I’m hoping to spend a lot of time Sept-April in Philly helping my dau’s family with child care and need an apartment near theirs. They’re a few blocks from the S Street Bridge on the City Ctr side and both work at the University of Pa. I don’t need a lot of amenities, but do want it to be decent (central air, etc). I want parking included or to rent a parking spot. I know the latter is a challenge but the on street parking regs are not made for temp/part time residents.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Craigslist and have looked at some of the apartment sites. Does anyone have other suggestions for sites that might have short term (<1) yr leases? Furnished would be nice, but I can manage to get some furniture if need be.

Also, do you have any ideas for a parking spot rental? It could be a couple miles away since I expect to use it mainly on weekends.

I don't know if they'd let you do it, but it doesn't hurt to ask about being able to pay for monthly parking at the CHOP lot for South St. near the bridge. If you park on your own, it's $50/ day I believe.
