How have the property tax increases been in Bucks over the past few years? I have been looking on realtor website (I am not looking for brand new construction, but "newer" construction) and am seeing approx $6K. (compared to almost $9K I am paying for my tiny house on LI!).

my taxes were $7,500 two years ago. Salaries here do not keep up with increases.

TIA!

When we were looking for houses a few months ago, we looked at Yardley, Newtown, New Hope and Washington Crossing. We wanted to stay in one of those cities because of teh strong school districts. I grew up in Washington Crossing, so I knew that area very well and my parents still live there.

Yardley and Washington Crossing and Newtown taxes were HIGH! They were ranging between 10-14K! We ended up buying in New Hope and our taxes were a bit over 4500, which I thought was reasonable for a 0.3 acre 3500 sq ft house near Peddlers Village.

Im not sure about taxes in other areas of Bucks. Hope that helps

Depending on the area - you will be spending about $5-8k a year in property taxes in Bucks County for a 400k house.
