Hi All,
I'm moving to Philly with one of my friends in Augst to attend two different grad schools. We are trying to find a a place in the middle in the $1000-1300 range (2 bedroom). We are not sure of the neighborhoods that are good.

The two schools we are attending are located at:

PCO : 8360 Old York Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027, USA
Drexel: 245 N 15th St, Philadelphia, PA 19102

Is there anyone who can help us out on telling us where to look for housing? Location wise or if you know of a good apartment complex, townhouse, or house.

Thank you
Babak

Unfortunately, there isn't a midpoint between those two locations that would be particularly comfortable.

Would you like to be near downtown to blow off steam on your off-time? Or would you prefer a suburban setting that will allow to focus on your studies?
If it's the former then you will want to live south of Drexel Hospital in Center City. If it's the latter, then you should consider apartments in the Jenkintown/Cheltenham area.

The good news is that if you choose either, you could take one of a few Regional Rail routes that travel between downtown and the Jenkintown-Wyncote station and have a short walk (PCO) or subway ride (Drexel) to either destination.
