This will actually tell you what crimes and how many are happening in your neighborhood. Its from the police dept. Its very helpful and its really just the facts. You can compare it to your city to see the difference in crime.

Neat, there seems to be a lot of property theft all around my zip code, along with every other zip code I searched. A couple simple assaults out on the major street.

Scottsdale and Paradise Valley look pretty good based on the zip codes I searched, as one might expect.

Here's a link I use for Phoenix zip codes

Right click and save that to your computer for reference.

Our country, South Africa, is the size of Arizona and we have 50 murders a day. That gives you 18 250 murders a year. Do you still think AZ is a dangerous place??

We are hoping and praying to relocate to Phoenix very soon! Hope to see you all in the not too distant future!

I have to get my wife and boy aged 1 out of here.

If PPD stats are like Dallas PD stats, little things like thefts from apartment balconies are included in the property theft category.

If you click on the red or green tabs they will tell you what kind of crime it was. If it was violent or not. Even if it was a child molester (I was shocked to notice one of those a couple of streets away from me).
Some of its worse than I thought, some of it's better. It is easy to compare though if you are moving here from where you are living. Like the african couple, they know its better here.
