Where's the good places. I live in Tempe but will drive to get my fix. Do any clubs have decent supporters groups? If you know of a place that shows Rangers matches I will buy you a pint!

"Rosie's is the Arizona Headquarters for the Bobby Murdoch Celtic Supporters Club! Matches are shown live every game in real time. Check the official site for game times, always at Rosie McCaffrey's."

LOL. If you are a rangers fan, then Rosie's may not be the best place to go, seeing as its a Celtic supporters club! Though I suppose it wouldn't be terrible.

I go to Tim Finnegans Irish Pub. 29th Ave and Dunlap, near metro mall. I know Metrocenter has an awful reputation these days, but the pub is absolutely fabulous. I go their to get my football fix all the time. They have football playing just about all the time, and the few instances that they don't, it's because the Suns/Cards etc may be on. Most of those games, however, don't conflict with European football matches. The owner's a Man City fan, but in general, loves the game and will play whatever you want...all you have to do is ask!

I'm a Yid myself (Spurs fan) and go their quite often to catch matches. Oh yeah, food and drinks are great and reasonably priced, too.

Mod Cut: No links with less than 10 posts.

Hahaha...some Celtic supporters are actually friendly. All depends on the town. The clubs in Kearny, NJ are friendly with each other. When Rangers won the league in the final match two seasons back the Celtic supporters came by to shake hands with the Rangers supporters.

In Chicago...not soo much...too many socialist, IRA supporter types that take it way too seriously.

I wear my Rangers jersey all the time, never had an issue with Celtic supporters. Check out my status above.

The George & Dragon at Cental and Indian school is a very footy friendly club too. Its a big hangout for British ex-pats.

do the bars open real early for games? like 4am? 7am? in DC our best soccer bar is Lucky Bar and they will open at 7 for the early Euro games and they'll be open during the early hours for World Cup/Euro.

I know for the World Cup, Tim Finnegans was open every morning at 6am, I think it was. Since we are out west, the 8 hr difference between here and London (7 hrs after daylight savings hits) often means some games are at 4 and 5 am. I'm not sure that many bars will open that early, but I'm sure some do. Finnegan's will usually be open by 8 or 9 for some of the early weekend matches.

I take it you've never been threatened by Celtic supporters with your two young children at your side in Chicago?
