My husband and I are planning on moving to the Chandler/Gilbert area of Phoenix next year. We have been there many times and love it but have been very surprised by all the negative comments. Everyone we know that lives there loves it. Are there any positive comments that we can learn from on this forum?

A search here will give you all sorts of information, including lots of positive comments on a variety of subjects pertaining to both Chandler and Gilbert. No place is for everyone, but judging by past threads here, many people are quite happy in both those places. If you have a specific question those other threads don't answer, feel free to ask!

There are plenty of positive things.

The broken-record complaints originate from people who apparently ignored where Phoenix is, how big it is, and how hot it is, before moving here. The complaints are always the same, and could have been mostly avoided by looking at a map, watching the weather channel, and using a bit of google-fu.
