Many places have a bar

Although, given the weather I would highly recommend the outdoor area at Haus Murphy ... you can kind of see it on their webpage

Haus Murphy's

fairly good beer selection with some wines by the glass as well ..... full bar service available as well .... then it would be just a walk across the street and down a couple blocks to murphy park

Thanks so much! I had originally thought of La Piazza but IIRC they only have dining tables and no sit-down bar. Great idea instead with sitting outdoors. Haus Murphy's sounds perfect.

yeah, there is like a 3 stool bar area in La Piazza, not exactly a place to kill some time with a drink .... it's more like a solo dining refuge area
