Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Is there any long term off site less expensive parking for Sky Harbor Airport? If so who and where and is there a shuttle to airport terminals?

About a 6 week term for an automobile.

What can make the offsite parking worth the effort is they can sometimes have good coupons, whereas you don't find that with long term.

To be honest I couldn't imagine parking anything six weeks, you don't know anyone/anywhere in Phoenix that you could leave your car parked and take a taxi?

I agree with the above poster. Take Super Shuttle, and leave your car safe at home. No matter where in the Valley you live, a round trip on SuperShuttle will cost FAR less than any discounted airport parking, which is, as far as I know, always on a daily rate, not weekly or monthly.

Thanks. There is no home to park at. Have apartment but not until July. Can't leave car there as already asked. Not driving nearly 5,000 miles until July. Thanks.

So seeking long term parking for about 6 weeks preferably near airport.

Craigslist ad under services: Offering $100 to let me park my car in front of your house for six weeks, plus you must drop me off at the airport.

This might work, although you'd have to do some screening to be sure your car would be safe. The cheapest offsite airport parking I found is 6.40 a day, plus tax. I wonder if you might find a place that would "store" your car (like places where RVs are stored, for example) and then take a cab to and from there. Then your car would be safer than parked at someone's home.

Be careful about parking your car on the street for 6 weeks. (Even with permission from a homeowner) A neighbor may call the police and have it towed as an abandoned vehicle.
