Well this is different from our parliament, a politician carrying a firearm into your version of our house of commons.

Would the pig and two hundred rounds of link be legal for one of your politicians to cart into the chamber ?
Certainly would get the opposition's attention.

For the OP~

First of all, AZ is a state where you can carry a weapon in the open or concealed without a permit almost anywhere. There are very few restrictions about doing it.

Second, you should be aware if you are not that some clown just killed several people and wounded a female congresswoman last Jan here in AZ.
Yes he was nuts.

Moderator cut: rude Our country varies state to state as to gun laws. It's called states rights. Some states are restrictive while others are pretty open about it.

Good for her. It's nice to see a woman, especially a politician, take control and make a stand for law-abiding citizens who own guns everywhere. The ignorant fools like Meza: "Me, personally, I don't live in fear," use this catchphrase all the time.No one says you are living in fear. It just means you refuse to be a victim. "Not living in fea"r also means living with your head in the sand and ignoring potential threats. The world is not a cheery gumdrop land of chocolate streams and people playing kissy-kissy under a shade tree. Some people are out there to hurt you, steal from you, and even kill you to get what they want. Let's see how Meza feels if his family is victimized, or he himself is placed in a life/death situation. Betcha he'd change his tune real fast.

We all own out here. My doc has a rifle and a pistol. This is the Southwest, we mean what we say. Hell I'm a grandma and I own a gun. Someone has to shoot those rattlers. I'm not shocked by her gun one bit.
