I live about a mile west of Chandler Fashion Mall off of Chandler BLVD, alot of houses for rent in this area and a very nice safe area to live in. You are close to everything in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for starting this thread. I am also thinking about relocating to Chandler for a job and looking for something similar... I agree that the Ray Rd/101 area looks nice (that is the area where I'll hopefully be working, fingers crossed!) and I would love to bike to work and walk my dog on a lunch break. Also, I have been scoping out this area around the Chandler Blvd and Arizona Blvd intersection. Looks like several restaurants and bars but don't know if it's a nice area to live in. Want something kind of quiet (not looking for the college party scene) but also that will allow me to walk to cozy coffee shops, a couple of trendy restaurants/bars and a good pub with lots of beers on tap. Have you looked into that area yet? I'd love to know what else you've discovered since you started looking...
