Does anyone know of any HoA's in the Queen Creek and San Tan Valley area that have size/weight restrictions of the dogs they'll allow? I have heard of breed restrictions, but not weight restrictions within an HoA and didn't know if that was common. I've tried to locate a good chunk of the HOA's websites, but it's very difficult! So I thought I'd see if anyone knew of any that did have restrictions. Our newfoundland and I thank you very much!

Is this a house or condo association? Most HOAs in housing development do not restrict size/ weight, but some condo HOAs do because a first floor owner doesn't want a huge dog running around above their head on the second floor.
HOAs may restrict the number of dogs per house.

Read the CCRs of the HOAs--they are recorded, public documents. Look for the original deed(s).

Cuellar Realty Services - Home Page (http://www.cuellarrealtyservices.net/cuellar/outside_home.asp - broken link) Here is a management company for many HOAs in Phoenix--give them a call.
