I think that "footprint" belongs to a basketball player.

If it isn't a basketball player (no clue about the actual size of the print), it's a raccoon.

It is hard to get a size relation in that picture.

It appears to me to be the not so common species "Homo Sapiens Screwithwithyouith".

If I found that on my windshield I'd really be worried, especially if it was on the inside. And I'd be super worried if my wife found it on the inside

That is a Four-Toed Glass-Climber. They are generally nocturnal creatures rarely seen but found throughout the U.S. and many other countries. They come out this time of year as the glass starts to cool off. They're also known for their strange habit of decorating each others habitats with toilet paper. You might also notice them leaving droppings in paper bags, which they deposit on doorsteps, light on fire, ring the doorbell and then run. You may then notice their strange vocalizations, it sounds a lot like someone in the bushes, rolling on the ground, laughing, with their hands over their mouths.
