It's way over 12% LDS where I live. I don't love it. Of course, they're lovely neighbors, lovely people, religious freedom, etc., etc. But if you want to make friends and want your kids to make friends among your neighbors and you don't want to convert, forget it. But this is probably only relevant in highly Mormon areas like mine. I can't speak to Gilbert or other parts of Mesa. I didn't notice it at all until my last move and until I had kids in school. Slowbill, it's not a problem at all. But, when you come from somewhere else (especially places that don't have a substantial LDS population for example), people refer to Mormons as religious nuts and make them out to be a cult. That was the idea I had until I moved here and saw that the stereotypes and prejudices I heard about the LDS church are just that... stereotypes and prejudices.
