Trying to find nice 1/2 bedroom in 600/800 range, preferrably on rail line. Anyone know of good areas or apartments to recommend? Tempe, central, others?

What is a 1/2 bedroom? Just curious, where are you moving from?

You might get more bang for your buck by looking for another flight attendant to share a more upscale living situation. Given that your job may have you coming and going at odd times of the day and night - safety should be a priority.

I have a friend that hubs out of PHX - he shares a wonderful place in a downtown high rise. Utilizes the rail often to and from the airport (is anxiously awaiting when the rail goes directly to the terminals). He reports that he sees his housemate only a few days a month. They found each other through a social site/blog that caters to flight attendants when my friend was transferring from FLA.

Good luck to you!

Tell us more age etc? If your real young there are plenty of places in Tempe along the light rail in your price range. Downtown phx is a little more expensive unless you wanna do the crash pad thing. I wouldn't recommend any areas in Mesa near the light rail
