I'd be the first to admit it's not the norm, but Lundberg survey for this week has Phoenix with the cheapest gas in the entire country. The average was 2.51, but it is pretty easy to find 2.40 around town.

Awesome. I call my parents every Sunday and they mentioned gas was about $2.90 in NW Iowa. It almost shocked me since the Midwest almost always has the cheapest gas in the country.

GO CHEAP GAS!!!

Good to know! I am headed that way next weekend and want to do a little driving around. Where I'm at now the avg is about 2.85-ish, but I've seen as high as 3.10

Is it election time already?

On the serious note, I am sure the oil companies will soon jack up the prices to make up for a few days/weeks of somewhat reasonable gas prices!

Regardless, no matter what the price is in Phoenix, I know it will be at least 40+ cents more where I transplanted from...
