I don't care about the heat, but I am tired of the blowing dust. I can't wait for the monsoon to be over.

I like it to be warm and clear, otherwise it negatively affects my lake time.

I admit that I have had enough. I would love to go outside and putter, but not in this. It will pass soon and we will enjoy more pleasant cooler months than most states. We will be working in the garden, grilling, while other states are shoveling snow. So we are just paying our dues in reverse.

Default Out of stat basher alert!!!!

Bostonian, we don't care! Now go have some tea and throw peanut shells on the floor or whatever it is you do in that ice box for fun in the brief summer you have.

Hang in there. In only a week or so the monsoon will evaporate and nights will be in the 60s out where you live. The worst is behind us (or ahead if you are planning on another year).

Wimps. 30 days of 110+. So what? We've had less than 100 days over 100 degrees, nowhere near the record of 143 days set back in 1989. We haven't come close to the record high of 122. Too bad. That might have been worth reporting. But a handful of 110's and maybe a couple 114's? Geez, that's nothing.

The humidity has been low most of the time also. I think it's been one of the best summers in the last 45 years and wish it would last through December. Almost perfect weather.

BTW, Bungle - where are you from? News is at 10 here!

Will hang tough. The winters here are worth the wait. I think I will visit a couple of the back east forums when they are having ice storms and I will be tossing another shrimp on the barbie!
