I want to get rid of a very, very old saguaro in front of the house and was wondering if there is a market for this in AZ?

Are there companies that buy and pick up saguaros?

Check with Arizona Cactus Sales -- they would know how to do it legally, have a special truck for moving the big cacti, and could advise you on whether that particular saguaro could be moved without excess risk of killing it, which would be a horrible shame. Moving big saguaros takes a lot of expertise and sometimes luck; there are several ways to screw it up and damage or kill a very valuable, hard to replace plant.

From tucsconcactus.org, "Native Plant Tags"...

Once a native cactus is relocated with the proper tag, it
does not need another tag when relocated or sold unless
it is a saguaro over 4 feet tall. All saguaros over 4 feet
tall require a tag to be moved off your property or sold.
Your original tag may be reused for the same saguaro
only. Contact the Arizona Department of Agriculture
for clarification or more information (520) 628-6317.

Depending on how many arms it has it could be worth thousands of dollars.

If you want to "get rid of" it because it's not healthy, that will likely affect the market for it. I'd contact the folks recommended above, and see what they say.
