Agree that Wild Thaiger is very good. Would be really nice this time of year to eat outside. Also Malee's on West Main St. in Old Town Scottsdale (fun to eat and then walk off your meal in the shops and galleries all around that area).

Here's one to keep in mind for weekends. I'm not really big on Thai food (we all have our faults!), but the wife and and friends are all fans of Dara's Thai on S San Francisco in Flagstaff.

Has anyone tried the Detroit Coney Island place in Tempe? I've heard good things but have not been yet.

I haven't been but I'm intrigued and will get there soon. The thing about Detroit Coney Island restaurants is not so much the hot dogs with chili but the incredible and cheap Greek food available EVERYWHERE. I'll evaluate them on their Greek salad and gyro since they don't seem to have much else (no moussaka, no lemon rice soup, no spinach pie ) That's what makes a real Detroit Coney (Island restaurant) and what I really miss.
