Hi. Does anyone have any pictures of Phoenix and the surrounding towns? We've never been there, but I'd really appreciate seeing some photos of it.

Here is a good photo gallery of Phoenix with pictures of different sights around town. If you click on "Arizona" it will also take to galleries of other parts in Arizona too. Enjoy.

The pictures in that gallery of the lightning are beautiful. We do have great lightning shows here in the valley. A lot of ground hitters.

Default more pictures

Of course our local newspaper would have some great information and pictures of Phoenix and the surrounding area. We really have some pretty scenery here.

Wow, greats photos! Tempe City Hall is indeed a very interesting building. I dig the look of the upside down pyramid shape which also creates a shade from top to bottom...very intelligent.

Here are two pictures I took last weekend in the Roosevelt Historic district just NW of downtown. From everything I've explored so far, this is about as good as it gets for Phoenix.

The upside down thing was a perfect reflection of the city government when it was built.

Here is Phoenix in all its "glory". It was 115 degrees and very smoggy when this was taken (from Camelback).

Thank you all so much for the pics. They are very nice and I have to say I'm actually surprised. My next door neighbor had lived in Mesa for a few years and was so disappointed when her DH said they were moving back here. She loved it there. My Uncle also lived in Az. for many years and loved it there, too. For some reason, I always thought it would be treeless, grassless, and bland. But you've proven me wrong.

We are hunting for a warm spot for our autumn vacation and since we've never been to Az or even that area, we decided it may be worth checking in to. We've ordered a vacation guide and can't wait for it to be here. We've checked the vacation packages and were so happy to see the nice pools and PALM trees down there. (I'm a palm tree addict) We love green and lush areas, but we've just GOT to see the Phx. area. It's pretty raved about up here and we want to see it for ourselves. Thanks again for the pics and keep them coming.
