Welcome (http://romanellisitaliandeli.com/Romanellis/Welcome.html - broken link) Maybe.......
Not it but a great recommendation. I love Romanelli's. Great subs and their canoli rivals Calandra's in Newark, NJ.

I'll have to force this mystery pizza joint out of my mind with a trip to Romanelli's.

Probably not the right place, as it's on Glendale Avenue, but it seems to be the one West Valley residents have raved about the most...

Yes! This is the place I was looking for. Confirmed via Google Maps. The name didn't ring a bell at all but I was going over old threads again and a picture of a giant pie the make and then I knew Pizza a Metro was the place. Now I can rest my head tonight and make plans for dinner in the not too distant future.

I'd toss rep your way but was blocked from doing so. Must have given you props for something else recently.

Thanks to everyone that offered up names of places and trying to jog my memory.

They wouldn't have a Sicilian pizza because the entire joint is Sicilian. The owner and his wife are both Sicilian.

That's the first place I thought of when you started this thread, but I decided it couldn't be it because you talked about Northern or Dunlap. Glad you figured it out!!!

If you read the posts above, he figured out what place he was thinking of, he was just a few miles off on the location. . Spinato's, however, is another good spot for pizza.
