Lisa,

Dont worry - as with most things you read or "hear" about. The reality is much less than the fear.

OMG that's the first time I've heard about the earwigs. I thought if I could get over my fear of scorpions and spiders I'd be all set. Now I gotta deal with earwigs too? When I was a kid we used to have earwigs, and they would come out of the electrical outlets. You did not want to have a bed next to an outlet in that house. I found out the hard way. I've been terrified of earwigs ever since.

Earwigs... well I suppose there's an upside, afterall, to my husband's roaring loud snoring - I have earplugs in every night. I hate wearing them but maybe they'll keep out the earwigs LOL.

Do they really crawl in your ears and eat your brain? I sure am glad I have plenty of scorpions around to keep the earwigs in check.

Oh I have no clue, but I will take solace in the fact that one of my relatives have lived here for over 12 years and have not had any earwig incidents worth mentioning. Otherwise I don't know, I've heard very little about them.

Can I borrow a gila monster PoppySead? That would likely take care of any and all insect problems.

I've been here almost 20 years and I've never even heard of silverfish or earwigs! I mean, I've heard of them, but not as in "here"!
