I got a new one about 4 years ago and its already gone haywire. Never waters when it should. Never stops watering. Nothing flashing, just nothing working either.
Does anyone know what it should cost to have a new one installed? The quotes I am getting are more than $250, including a trip charge of $65 ! Isn't there a cheaper way? One guy said I could take it to Sprinkler World and they could reset it for $45 but I don't even have enough skills to do that myself. What to do??

I just paid $180 for a nice one installed. Well, I'm assuming it's nice for that price. It looks nicer than the cheap junk it replaced.
