Uncle Bears is a nice sports bar/restaurant, and you can bring your well behaved 4 legged friend on the patio. Someone just told me that there is a great Mexican food place called Moreno's at Gantzel and Combs.

The above link is to the Arizona dept of insurance's premium comparison for 2012. Every year, they shop each carrier doing business in AZ, and gather the rates for several hypothetical customers. (18 y/o male, 1 accident, 20 miles each way vs married 75 year old couple, etc. etc.)

Then they publish the results. Have a look and you can see which company charges the least, to whom, and for what amount of coverage. I shop for coverage periodically, as there's really no benefit to being a long term customer these days.

Thank you for the link. I thought USAA was coming in high for us. They quoted us $205 per month on our vehicles. One is 14 years old the other a newer Ram. But that seems very high to me. Anyone care to share the homeowners insurance rates? I have been quoted around $1000 a year for insurance for our home. Now that to seems high considering we are currently paying around $400 here on the east coast.

Seems high to me too.

By way of comparison, we pay 102/month for two cars, one a 5 year old Japanese sedan, and the other a 2 year old large US-made truck. Carry limits of 250/500 with standard deductibles, and the homeowners runs 420/yr with the same company, but with a 1000 deductible.

Pay $125 per month on two 2011 vehicles, one a AWD SUV, the other a extended cab pickup with 250/500k limits . Homeowners is $550/year.

Some of our favorites in the area: QC Olive Mill (Rittenhouse & Combs), Moreno's Mexican Grill (Ironwood & Combs), Moon China (Ironwood & Ocotillo) - seriously some of the best Chinese I've ever had, and they have cheap lunch specials, Jim's Burritos (on Ellsworth, E. of Queen Creek High), Costa Vida (Rittenhouse & Ocotillo).

This is great info. My daughter loves Chinese food so I am sure that we will be trying out Moon China. Does it seem that there is more restaurants and such coming to QC/STV area?
