Ok, I need more help! Fence companies for horse fence and for walls? I see great walls of China built all over the Phoenix area. If I tried to have one of those built on a 4 acre lot in the NE I would have to take out another mortgage! Is it that much cheaper there to build a wall and stucco it or whatever they do to it? Does anyone know approximately how much walls are per linear foot? The other option for us is steel with welded wire (so no dogs can get in or out). Anyone know a great company for that one that we could get an estimate from? Or maybe a company that does both well and relatively inexpensively that could come give us estimates. Going to do another thread asking for favorite barn builders too!

As always I appreciate the help! I'm feeling very overwhelmed because every house we look at needs some type of major building project! Or sometimes multiple major building projects!

There was a recent thread on the cost of block wall. Stucco-ing a block wall would cost a lot.

Horse fence can be bought free-standing. Then it's personal property and you can take it with you if you move. And it's easy to shift around the property, too. I don't think it's cheap.

I was recently quoted $1k to stucco(one side) 200 feet of 6ft block wall.
The standard 4" thick, six foot tall block wall runs about $20-$25 per linear foot on Craigslist, but I'd suspect there's room for negotiation if you need a lot of it - quite a few companies doing that work.
