I don't know, I think it'll be ok...you never heard of pharmacies being held up.
Actually pharmacies are being held up more frequently all over the valley. Oxycontin has a huge street value, as well as other prescription drugs. We also passed that law putting Sudafed and similar Meth lab ingredients behind the counter.

Here's one recent article, but there have been probs in all parts of town, not just bad areas. In fact, they probably target "safe" areas because they are less expected.
Police arrest 3 in connection to Oxycontin thefts (broken link)

Not a good area during the day and an area I would want to avoid ,especially at night.
You must say to yourself, why is this the only spot that is open?

I was trying to remember that area. It didn't use to be that bad - at least by day. There was a Stuart Anderson's near there if memory serves, and several other eateries that I used to go to when I worked in that part of town. Also, isn't/wasn't there a cowboy bar near there - a really popular one? Maybe that stuff is now closed. The area was really in "transition".

Just to get an idea, you might want to drive around that area once or twice (at night) before accepting the offer!

Much better for you! Yea!

And the 'big' bar on 43rd ave and Indian School is gone. Graham Central Station is now located in Tempe. Mr. Lucky's (another LONG TIME bar in that area) is also gone.

Very good idea!!! You should be much safer in Surprise. I agree with the others, the Maryvale area is bad news day or night. I avoid it at all costs. IMHO, I think that part of town should be condemned.
