Smart decision. There is something similar to this every day now it seems. If that is not bad enough, deadly car wrecks are a near daily occurrence on area freeways and roads. It is a really lousy place to live anymore - just another big, crime-ridden American city.

hyperbolic much?

Definition of the word "hyperbole":
Hyperbole is a purposeful exaggeration not meant to be taken literally. It is used to emphasize or draw attention to a certain element in a story.

First of all, it's illogical to say "don't live anywhere near Phoenix." Second, a bus stop in the avenues is not the safest place, like tens of thousands of other places all across the United States.

Now just who in this scenario is the Contrarian?

I guess some people enjoy being the Contrarian. I would only be a Contrarian if being so is logical and has common sense, meaning: Millions of people live in the Valley of the Sun with zero issues.

Has being contrarian become a religion or nationality so that we are now capitalizing the word as Contrarian? I'm happy just to be a contrarian without being elevated to the status of the Contrarian.
