My family and I are strongly considering relocating to Arizona in 2013. I have visited the surrounding areas of Phoenix and fell in love with Queen reek and the Chandler area. My husband and I have 4 daughters and are definitely needing more space coming form Illinois. We are curious to know what are some of the best schools in the areas, as well as the crime rates, quality of life, activities, shopping, commuting, etc. My husband is a truck driver and I am a cosmetologist. How would those professions play a part in what area to choose. We were also looking at Maricopa, San Tan Valley and Surprise. If anyone could give us some ideas that would be great. Thanks a bunch

I think best schools would be Chandler, Gilbert and Kyrene. Hair stylists are always in demand it seems as there are tons of salons in this Huge Phoenix area. As for truck drivers, don't know. Oops I guess you said cosmetologist. I had a friend who went to school to become one, but she had a hard time breaking into the business. She had to purchase her "chair" at a spa, and it was pretty pricey. That was a few years ago, though.
