hi i recently just got finished up studying film production abroad. i want to get involved with film production here in Arizona. can anyone recommend any studios that might be willing to take on a runner or anything or casting agency's that might want an intern. i just arrived in Phoenix today and am looking to set up. any help or advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

So glad you posted this....You really don't hear too much about the film production environment in the area. Curious myself about the film community in the Phoenix metro area.

yeah im just waiting for a film festival to come around to make some cantacts and meet the film community here.

some of the local studios shut down after the state didn't renew the film incentive program - as AZ is one of the few states that does not have an incentive program and our neighbors to the west have a massive film infrastructure and our neighbors to the east offer great incentives it leaves AZ a little cold at this time

probably not the best location to pick if you wanted to break into the industry

Film jobs in Arizona need a boost from legislation

wow didnt hear about that. interesting tho. well im mostly going to try to get some of my own short films off the ground here but was hoping on getting some work in the field. but yeah thats a shame.
