Been raining literally non-stop since I woke up at 8am, and who knows how long it had been raining before that. The rain gauge shows 1.46" so far, which is about 20% of our yearly rainfall. Definitely nice to have a change in weather for a bit, I couldn't handle it for amore than a few days but it is nice. I'm near 67th Ave & Happy Valley.

We get Sky Harbor weather here in Tempe, which means less precipitation than the outer burbs. About 0.80 of an inch since last evening for me. We had 5 inches of rain for the ENTIRE 2012 calendar year so the precipitation is very welcoming. Only problem is my dog doesn't like the rain and I've done some extra cleaning in the house......

Does anyone know of a website that shows daily rainfall total for specific areas? I don't take the newspaper and probably won't be up to catch the news!

1.1" here. Looks like it's supposed to continue through Monday? All the grass areas in our apartment complex are already temporary lakes.

Here's one Intellicast - Phoenix Weather Report in Arizona (85004)
...(click on the tab for "past observations" for rainfall info

and these guys are good as well: Wunderground

and NOAA is always a great resource

Oh - if you want to be part of a rain logging group - try RainLog.org

More rain today. Yay!!! Wonder what the 2013 totals are. After that week long storm at the end of January and today we should be up at least a half inch.

The link posted above by Ponderosa isn't showing totals anything like what you guys are describing. Highest I see on the rain total chart for last 24 hours is 1/2 inch.
