I love Phoenix, and have come to like it despite the hot weather. I know it's not your or my perfect city, but is there one?.. for the sake of those reading these threads, let's give one of America's fastest growing city a break, to show them Phoenix is indeed a good place to visit, live, retire or invest in.

let me start -

Phoenix gave me a good job.. for the same per hour pay coupled with affordable housing and cost of living, this is a better place.

1. Great scholarships at ASU-- the main reason I came down here.

2. Excellent roads and freeways. Your car's suspension system will love you here!

3. Downtown Scottsdale is pretty fun at night.

4. Plenty of desert hiking... if that's your thing.

5. World class sunsets.

2. Excellent roads? Have you ever driven on our roads? Try and go one day without confronting a traffic cone.

3. Downtown Scottsdale fun compared to where? Downtown Detroit? For a city as large as ours it certainly pales in comparison to ALL other cities.

4. Plenty of desert hiking. Coyotes and cactus's get old..not to mention dying from the heat.

5. World class sunsets? Lets go ask the California forums who has beter sunsets.... lol.

Negativity!
