I see so many posts on here that there is nothing but fast food chains in Phoenix. Some of us know otherwise, but the perception persists. So, here is your chance to sample some of Phoenix' finest food places on a budget - the Arizona Restaurant Week. This link gives the details and even if you can't make it there is a list of restaurants that you might want to check out over the coming months. No McDonalds, no Taco Bells:

September 21-29, 2013 | Arizona Restaurant Week

Also, google "arizona restaurant week" for recommendations and reviews.

Bon appetit!

I see this every year never really get involved. Some of these are a bargain, some do not appear to be at all. This is a means of trying some of the valleys nicer places at a discounted price. That said, it can still be a bit pricey. $40 for dinner X 2, a couple of drinksand a tip...still gonna be over $120 for dinner at most of these.

I love restaurant week. Aside from a couple random chain restaurants thrown in, most are a really good value. Some you just get more food than you normally would (or should) so I just pass on those.
