24th and Broadway is in Phoenix is a great place to live if you're black and on welfare. If you like to deal drugs it's even better. If you're hispanic, you might be OK but if you're white...say a prayer. There's a few new subdivisions popping up within a mile of the corner....but keep in mind do you really want to grocery shop in that area....or walk at night, or ride a bike outside that area....no way..
At one time 24th Street and Broadway was the roughest corner in Phx...

Well, I have a job prospect there and wanted to know about the area in relation to the airport because I would be flying in for an interview. Don't have a clue where I would be living.

East of 24th street and Broadway about a mile, there's a bunch of industrial parks...lots of jobs there but nothing on 24th/Broadway except a city run community center.

OK, thanks. It would be in that industrial park then. I appreciate your help.

If you're male and have been exposed to anything resembling a real bad neighborhood in LA, Chicago or NYC, 24th st. and Broadway is no big deal. I don't know if I would feel comfortable with a wife/daughter walking to a car late at night in that area.
