There are dozens of new developments. No one is going to be able to name them all. Not to be rude, but your questions show you do not have an clear idea of what things are really like here. There are new housing developments by the hundreds in the Phoenix metro. You will get the picture when you visit. You are going to be overwhelmed by the selection. For now, put "model homes goodyear arizona" into your search engine and then look at the results. Do the same with any other city your might be interested in.

As for taxes, who knows? Taxes tend to rise more in rapid growth areas like Goodyear and Queen Creek because of the demand for new infrastructure such as streets, traffic lights, water and sewer, and services like police and fire as well as new schools.

Depnds on your definition of new.

There are many newer subdivisions and shopping centers in Avondale and Goodyear but a lot of them were built before the great recession, the boom period for growth was mainly 1990's to around 2008.

Anything completed in the last five to ten years is still considered on the new side.

I was going to say the same thing...I don't know of many (if any) "new developments" in Avondale and Goodyear. There are many developments in the area but most are not new and were started many years ago before the downturn in the economy. I live in a development that isn't nearly complete and has lots of room to build houses but it certainly isn't new as it's been here since 2006. I think that is the case with most of the developments in the Goodyear/Avondale area.

I think of it as places where they are still building and selling new homes of which there are many.
