I'm resurrecting an old thread and am surprised it had received zero replies?

Looking for a reputable / honest / reliable / reasonably priced garage door repair service.
Someone who services east valley area (Tempe / Chandler).

Is it that no one has ever needed garage repair?

Or -

No company is worthy of recommendation?

Well, I'm sure there are people who have needed repairs. Whether they ever saw this thread and wanted to respond is a different question.

I haven't had repairs done for a long time, not sure the company who did them is still around. I'll check.

Is it your opener or the door itself?

It's either the springs or the door itself.

Sounds like a bomb going off every time I open the door.
It functions, but would rather not have to endure the loud BOOM sound when opening!

Sounds like your springs.

One of the loudest sounds I ever heard around my house was the sound of the garage door spring breaking and the door falling closed. That's when I had the repairman out.

Have you read the reviews on yelp?

Garage door repair Phoenix, AZ

Haven't had experience with a garage door repair but there are a decent amount of reviews on several of the companies in the above url to perhaps give you an idea.

Almost three years ago I had Arizona Native Garage Doors come out: 480-584-4998.

They serve Maricopa and Pinal counties; I live in San Tan Valley.

The problem turned out to be minor; there was a flat fee because I went through my home warranty company so I don't know the company's regular hourly/job rate.

No repair was required so I can't address that, but they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or invent a problem that wasn't there.

As I said, this was three years ago so I don't know their current policies or if they still serve such a large area, but it might be worth a call.

Good luck.
