I will know next week for sure. I'm hoping they tell him something before he leaves next Wednesday.

Yeah it depends on how the face to face interview goes. It's a great job opportunity and we have to be thankful for it. Our phone sure isn't ringing from any other states

Thanks for wishing us well

Yeah, count me in on that meeting, too, 'cuz I'll be heading that way myself if I can secure a job there from long distance, too. Keep the faith

That would be great. I have no friends left in Phoenix. They have all moved on

My girlfriend and I are looking to relocate to Arizona.

We live in a suburb of Buffalo, NY.

We both have college degrees, I'm a bit older than her and have a bit more experience.

I'm working for one of the largest banking institutions in the United States here in Buffalo, but the pay is very low (relative to the area).

I'm looking in the IT market, she is looking in the Criminal Justice Market.

I have had 1 phone screen, have about 25 applications in this month.

During that phone screen, the lady told me that they favor in state applicants versus out of state, and they wouldn't even invite me out to test for the job because I had no chance.

Any tips?
You definately will get more consideration once your here. In the meantime, Get a tracfone with a local AZ number. Borrow an arizona address. have this information on your resume that you send out. Test the waters for interest, create the image that you are already here. Your chances will improve!
