Anyone have any experience with a good mechanic to work on a Honda Civic? (NOT a stealership )

North Phoenix/Deer Valley or west valley area would be the best, but any suggestions anywhere in the valley would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Elle, If you are ever in the east valley, give these guys a try.
They are on Chandler Blvd between Alma School and Dobson.

Why are most of the automotive places here closed on the weekend...They are only opened through Monday - Friday. Reason in asking, is I have a Honda too...and most of the places that I have researched are not open on the weekend.

I do not personally own a Honda, however I see quite a few here;
Automotive Dynamics | Sun City Body Shop, Collision Repair & Used Car Sales

And have talked to some and they seem to be as happy as I am
with the no 'BS' approach and they have been there since '82

Talk to Kevin in Service he speaks in regular talk...Not car talk

Try Hontech Specialists | Honda - Acura Repair & Service | Auto Shop AZ

A bit further, but they specialize in Hondas.

We've gone to The Honman in Tempe on Apache for years. Tait is the best auto mechanic I've ever dealt with and one of the reasons we bought another Honda recently. We've had multiple experiences where he'll look at our car for a good while, not find a problem, and then not charge us anything. And they'll often tell us there is something that we could have done, but it's not necessary, or could be done down the road. Good folks.

Because the smaller places have limited staff and don't want to work 7 days a week.
