Just let your pool be. Be sure to check your chemicals, but it will be fine.

Moving out to the Valley in June from the Northeast and it's pretty funny to see such excitement over rain

I've always loved watching a good rain storm. Even when I lived in the northeast I'd stand in the door (or sit on the porch or patio) and watch a good storm.
