My mother called those "mother of millions" with good reason. When they are that big, best to just get a digging fork and dig them out. If you got a lot of rain yesterday, now's the time to do that. If you catch them when they are small, you can spray them.

The name of that weed is called "common mallow", it's very common around here.
'google' common mallow and you'll get information on the plant and how to control it.

Ah yes, also known as "Cheeseweed Mallow" this mallow is rumored to turn the whites/yellows(?) of chickens eggs pink!

Really invasive stuff. I find that a combo of a weedeater to cut them all back combined with a pesticide is the best combination.
