I just moved to Cave Creek, AZ. I find it to be very quiet and spread out. What is the general consensus about living in Cave Creek? Do you like it? Is it too quiet, Is it safe, friendly

Those sound like questions you might have asked before you moved there. Yes, it's quiet. Yes, the houses are spread out, there are far fewer of the subdivisions like you will see in other parts of the Valley. I wouldn't think of it as "friendly", (but not necessarily unfriendly, either), only because the houses are farther apart and you don't even see your neighbors as much as you might elsewhere, much less talk to them. I suspect that crime figures would show it to be a generally safe area.

EDIT: I see that you are living in a condo in the Tatum Ranch area, which is one of the more densely populated areas of Cave Creek. As far as neighbors in a condo area, I would wonder if many of them are part year residents, so you don't have as many people around as being in a condo area might suggest. In most areas around here, you have to make an effort to get to know your neighbors and other people in the area.
