Have you ever seen Lin Sue in person? ! And that was about 15 years ago doing a live remote from the State Fair. I think they put her make-up on with a trowel.

I stopped watching her and Mark Curtis in 2005 after the Terri Schiavo incident. They talked about how removing her feeding tube and causing her to die of dehydration and starvation was humane and painless when the previous summer they had been wringing their hands over the horrible, agonizing deaths of illegals who were dying of dehydration and starvation in the desert. Too hypocritical for me.

Next we tried ch5 but Kent Dana hasn't been the same since he left ch12. Now we watch ch15 for the local news. They seem to have less 'fluff', and fewer "who-gives-a-rat's-ass" stories than 5 or 12.

Channel 3's pilot Bruce Haffner is their only bright spot. I can only take small doses of Tara Trailertrash and watching Brad Perry makes me physically ill.

I miss Dave Nichol, KOOL ch 10 from the sixties, and Bill Denny sports. Barry Young is alright for talk radio, but it (not him) gives me a headache. Besides, since I've retired, I don't do mornings very often.

BTW, about Lynn Sue Cooney, when she first started with Ch-12 several years ago, she was about to be fired but saved her butt by announcing at the time that she was marrying into the Cooney family that owns Ch-12. She married Pep Cooney's son, I believe his name is Shawn or Sean? At that time public publicity about her on air reporting was very bad plus conflicts with her co-workers.
Kent Dana came to Ch-5 from Ch-12 and has been in the valley news scene since father time. Patty K, well what can you say about her, nothing.
I watch Ch-8's various news programs and frequently watch Ch-15 as they seem to be the more moderate news station (their HD is great). At least they don't do giggly things and have idiots like Brad Perry on Ch-3 dancing, er prancing around in his egotistic ways. Tara Hitchcock, yow she is a sight isn't she. Another egomaniac.
They all get so excited about rain, then they complain when it's hot, then they complain when it's cold. It never ends. And some stories they milk it to death over and over.

Remember that whole ordeal with Sean Cooney and that drowning incident at the Lake?

I haven't heard about that - what happened? Is this Lin Sue's husband you're talking about?

Wow!! Her husband drove his boat drunk and killed a guy?!? I never knew that. That's crazy! What's crazier is that he got such a short sentence. Man, I had no idea that family was so powerful in this city.

Wonder if Lin Sue ever reports on this new policy in AZ of stiffer fines for DUI's and the DUI website where your photo is posted if you get a DUI....????

I don't know what one is the lesser evil. I think they all are 2nd rate. I'll be impressed with one when they don't do a 20 minute lead story on 1/10 inch of rain.

First, they don't do a "20 mininute lead story on rain" - none of them do

Lead stories on rain in the valley are however, very appropriate inasmuch as the valley tends to have flooding with measurerable rain - even flooding in areas where it is not raining!

So, perhaps you can try to cut them a little slack on this issue??
