Does anyone know what places of employment mainly hire Hispanic and Asian people, etc...? Any big distribution centers that you know of? The place I work at now has 1800 people working there(3 shifts total) and most of them are Hispanic, Asian, Nepal, Thailand, etc..... and I get along with every single one of them. I would like to find a similar workplace.

It's illegal to hire someone based on race, ethnicity, or national origin.

So with that in mind most major employers will have a pretty good mix of people including Asians and Hispanics, I'm not certain if they make up the majority in any specific companies though.

I misread the above quote the first time I read it. It's more accurate to say it's illegal to NOT hire someone based on race, ethnicity or national origin. What it boils down to is that hiring decisions are not to be based on those characteristics. Where you are living/working now may have a very different demographic than we have here. I'm not aware of any company here like you describe, including any large distribution centers we have here.

Thank You for the reply. The reason I ask is that, Hispanics and Asians as well as other nationalities tend to be very hard workers and I just love that kind of work attitude. I worked in warehouse where people talk about one another and always cut up and goof off. I see very little of this if any with my coworkers who came here from outside of the USA. The job I work at now pays min wage and to be honest with you the average person wont work for min wage. People who come here from outside the USA are very happy with min wage. I was even talking to my Mexican friend today and he was telling me that the min wage in Mexico is only 5 dollars for 8 hours worked which translates down to around 60 cents per hour.

There are many companies in the valley that will be all (or the large majority) Hispanic and other minorities. I don't know why people are saying this isn't normal. I don't think I've ever seen a non Hispanic person working in Pro's Ranch Market or Food City. Most warehouse jobs I've seen are nothing but Hispanic workers, same with landscapers, construction, agriculture, etc. My wife supervises almost exclusively minorities at her job. You'll have no problem finding employers that mainly hire hard working minorities. There is a much higher percentage of them here in the valley then other parts of the country.
