My husband and I both updated our operating systems last night...both phones seem to be problem free now. We both have Samsung Galaxy S 3's...

ATT must have caught up then...they used to be horrible. Have been with Verizon for over 12 years out here and have very few issues.

Well, the Cingular merger, the shutdown of the legacy analog and TDMA networks (thus freeing up spectrum for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA coverage), and the acquisition of the Phoenix area Alltel network and spectrum has really given AT&T a boost in coverage. And with AT&T's acquisition of Cricket, it will soon even get better as Cricket's spectrum is repurposed for LTE.
