So, as I've mentioned, I'm moving to Phoenix in about six months. When I was getting ready to move to Philadelphia, I started reading the web sites of the alternative weeklies, the Metroblogging Philadelphia site, and other blogs/sites about living in this city. I found it to be a great way to get a feel for events, places, neighborhoods, and even figure out where I wanted to live. It really helped smooth the transition for me.

Oh, don't get me wrong, this is a great resource. But I was looking for places that are less about specific questions and answers, and more about recounting the day-to-day goings on in town.
