Does anyone have any recommendations on how to save $$ on this easy 3 plan? Lately, I've been using my evap cooler all day to save money in preparation for the monsoon season.

I'm wondering if only using the evap during the easy 3 hrs (3pm-6pm) would make sense?

In some respects, I like the feeling of the evap better because it adds humidity and allows me to keep the windows open. But, we'll see how comfortable the evap is when it gets to 112 later in the week...

It might work while the humidity stays low, but not later. I don't have an evap cooler, but I just program the thermostat to cool the house down a bit more than normal, and then the AC stays off during the three hours.
