What a pitty. My next flight will be even more boring Our very own Sky Mall is bankrupt: Airline catalog SkyMall files for bankruptcy
What's the craziest product you have ever actually bought from them? - Me, I'm way too boring but some of their products were really crazy!

I heard about that...sucks! Not that I ever bought anything, but it was almost like a tradition to flip through the whole thing every time I flew.

My daughter and I once bought a nutty robot thing called "Brian's Brain" for my grandson. (His dad is Brian). It must have been about 100 bucks plus tax. The kid looked at it once and then that was the end of Brian's Brain. There have been a few other things on there I thought were good, but way too much $.

Okay, I will admit it. Like HX_Guy, I liked to look at it too, in the air! And yes, they did have a few tempting items, but I never did buy anything. Their catalog was fun to read - lots of unusual items.

Too bad they didn't design a smartphone app that you could browse the catalog while in airplane mode, shop and put things in the shoppping cart, and then checkout once you could turn your phone back on.

It was fun to read and see the unusual things available for sale, but their products were way too pricey.

Shoot, I never visited this place. For a minute I thought I missed my chance to buy a glow-in-the-dark toilet seat, but I should have known they have them on Amazon (plus I don't think my master bathroom gets enough direct light to keep it glowing, and I'm not going to set the seat out in the sun every day ).

I could have used one of those nap-anywhere pillows on a few flights!
