That's a fact, and I agree with you - to a degree.

As you know, people who do vote usually are the ones who have a strong political leaning. No doubt there are more far-right conservatives in Arizona than far-left liberals, but I feel that the the majority of population here doesn't care and is quite apathetic politically.

There is more of a "live and let live" feel in this state than states like TX, AL, CA, NY, etc.

I paid WAY more taxes under the Republican administrations than I have the other. I'm impartial to party, but that's just an ignorant statement.

I dunno. My state is technically more liberal than AZ and our taxes are lower and we don't have nearly as many restrictive laws on the books as AZ. I think you have it backwards. The conservatives move to AZ and try to restrict everything. Or more accurately, I think it's your NIMBY's that are causing the problem, not the rank and file people in AZ.
