Where in North Scottsdale? it's a big place. I am in North Scottsdale right now and I got here just fine and saw no construction.

The westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Hayden Road and westbound off-ramp at Scottsdale Road are scheduled to close at 9 p.m. Monday (June 17) and remain closed until mid-August for work related to the Arizona Department of Transportation’s $185 million project to add lanes and make other improvements along the freeway.

And...

The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Scottsdale Road and eastbound off-ramp at Hayden Road are scheduled to close for approximately 60 days starting at 9 p.m. Monday, June 24.

So basically a few on-ramps for the 101. Gotcha. That is far from effecting all of north Scottsdale.

Unrelated to ramp work on 101. N. Scottsdale Road, between Cactus and Thunderbird. Total traffic. Come and spend the day creeping along, as your car engine overheats.

So, there’s a congested one mile stretch? Cool, yeah don’t come. Please everyone avoid Costco too.

I haven't seen that. But it's easy to avoid, in any case.

It takes a whole day to go 2 miles? Wow, that is going to cause a problem for all of north Scottsdale!

Let me know when everyone avoids Costco. The crowd is the only reason I don’t go there.

They are tearing up the 101 through Chandler too. We just went through a ton of freeway work a couple years ago.... it’s that time again. They are adding a lane and repaving and that stretch through North Scottsdale, particularly in the left and HOV lanes were some rough road. It’s kind of worth the delays to fix.

I was just at Costco today, not crowded at all, at least by California standards.
Though it's funny, even Cali Costco traffic is largely down to mostly fresh off the boat foreign nationals who haven't established Amazon accounts. Everyone else who's lived there a while just buys off of Amazon.
