I live in the Ocotillo area of Chandler. T Mobile signal is very strong, even in the basement.

Brilliant for me, in Northeast Mesa - full signal inside the house, all the time. Never had any trouble with it driving anywhere in the East Valley, using the data all over the place. I love their family plan, which means I could add my kids at $10 for unlimited everything!

No personal experience, but I happen to know of some Verizon people who are looking into T-Mobile.

I am!

Currently have Verizon and have unlimited data (grandfathered in) and no contract/unlocked phone. I am happy with the signal/service but tired of paying the high price.

Any more input from TMobile users would be appreciated!

In the metro area, there is not a great deal of difference. But I can tell you from family members that have T-mobile, if you frequently leave the Phoenix area, Verizon is worth the extra cost. They have more areal coverage at higher speeds than anyone.

UPDATE: These people I mentioned have already switched over to T-Mobile, apparently due to the higher costs of Verizon. However, coverage must not be a major problem, as they RARELY leave the area they live in!

I switched from Verizon about a year ago. I'd been with verizon for 15 years but got tired of their constant lies from them. Been with T Mobile for over a year now and am very happy so far.
I ride motorcycles a lot so I'm all over the state. No major issues with coverage so far.

T-Mobile was very good for me all over the Valley. I had to switch to AT&T because, at that time, AT&T were the only ones that supported iPhones.
