Anyone live in surprize airzona? Some friends of ours moved from Aurora Colorado to there? I don't know if they like it there or not. We moved to Missouri onto 5 wooded acreas and a shop building. I can hunt on my own property if I want. Yesterday My wife spotted what was digging up our yard and I got my shotgun and killed me a Armidillo. I won't bother us again.

Do a search on this forum and you'll find plenty about Surprise. Not sure why you shared your killing story. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't like hunting of any kind. No hunting here, at least nowhere within the county, so you may not like it here.

An Armadillo? In Surprise? Wouldn't that be rare?

This is wrong, there are numerous areas where it it quite legal to hunt in Maricopa County. National Forest Land, BLM Land, State Trust Land, Sections of some Maricopa County Parks, private farmland etc.

Good to know, or not, I guess it depends on how you look at it.

You could always ask your friends if they like living there. I like Surprise myself. Its a great community. Not sure if there are home sites with 5 acres or not. If there are I doubt that they would like having someone killing Armadillos in the city. Never seen an armadillo in my life time. Not even sure if they are in the Valley of the Sun or not. Surprise is near a lot of farm land though. Much of it was built on farm land. You can find some really nice homes on an acre and more within the city. If it is land that you want there is plenty of areas around the state that have lots of land. Wickenburg is about 30 or so miles north west of Surprise and they have homes with acreage. Not sure is there are any Armadillos out there though. I am sure that you can fins something to shoot if you are so inclined.
