I heard pinnacle peak patio steakhouse is closing?!??!?

That place is legend.

I'm from NYC and I feel like phoenix has us beat on beef (overall). I just had dinner at Lugers the other night (for the 500th time) in case you think I don't know what I'm writing about...

Pinnacle Peak Patio is/was a joke as far as food is concerned. It's all for the kitsch. It's not a serious steakhouse.

Joke? ...always though of it as a theme sort of place. Like the planet hollywood of cowboys and indians on a less grand scale without movie star owners who don't really own the place but just lease out their name.

I didn't write anything about the food - just that the place is a legend. I begrudgingly ate a plate of rattlesnake there one time. Tastes…nothing like chicken.

A little off topic: How on earth did flakey jakes close? That place was literally the busiest place I've ever been to every single time I went there. The owner(s) must have been degenerate gamblers or robing each other blind. Unlsess they killed someone with a hamburger??
